Obtaining a diploma from the school of security guards. As a rule, education at school is paid and it lasts about three months. At the end of the educational process, you will have to pass a qualifying exam before the commission at the internal affairs body. Only those future security guards who have successfully passed the examination tests can receive a diploma.

Obtaining norms. The lack of a diploma or license will not be a hindrance when applying for a job as a security guard, if you are not going to stay in this area for a long time. In any city in Russia there are private security companies (PSCs) that employ security guards without any qualifications. But be prepared for the fact that it will be much more difficult to find the right job that meets your expectations in terms of salary and working conditions. In reputable organizations, a license is a mandatory requirement.

Browse your city's newspapers and job sites on the Internet. There are a lot of job offers for security guards.

Do not be afraid to offer your candidacy to private security companies and other enterprises of interest, even if you have not found any open vacancies. But first, make sure you meet the company's requirements. Most security organizations want to see security guards in their ranks:
• with a license, • with a driver's license, • have served in the ranks of the armed forces, • having a positive characteristic from the previous place of work, • with higher education (for personal guards and bodyguards). Sometimes there are also restrictions on growth. The most optimal height is 175-185 cm. Age also matters. If you are at least 21 years old and no more than 50, it will be easier to get a job as a security guard. An additional advantage for you may be the experience of successful work in special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB of Russia, the presence of a belt or title in martial arts, the title of master of sports. Some security agencies value employees who speak foreign languages.
