For one reason or another, you suddenly had to leave your previous job, but you haven’t thought about a new one and haven’t visited job search sites for a long time. Finding a good job in two or three weeks, even in a month, is not at all easy. What if necessary?
Instructions
Step 1
Finding a job is also a job. Approach him seriously. Submit your resume to at least five job search sites (these should include www.hh.ru, www.superjob.ru, www.rabota.ru). Update it every day so that it is always one of the first for the employer. Send it to all employers who, at least theoretically, may be of interest to you. Don't be afraid to sound a little annoying, you need to find a job quickly. Moreover, there are always a lot of applicants for good vacancies
Step 2
Pay attention to your resume - keep it short but informative. Indicate your achievements in past jobs, additional education, internships. The resume should represent you in the best possible way.
Step 3
Remember to write a cover letter every time you submit your resume. It is a "short summary" of your resume, since HR managers do not always have time to look through all the resumes sent. The purpose of this letter is to draw attention to your resume. Therefore, in addition to the "brief retelling" of where you studied, worked and what you know how, it needs to justify why you paid attention to this particular company and want to work in it. Show your awareness, for example, if the company is foreign, write that you are attracted by the multicultural environment, that you would like to improve your knowledge of a foreign language. The address in the cover letter is very important: it is highly undesirable to start with an impersonal "reputable company", it is better to mention the name of the company.
Step 4
Use connections - friends and family. Be sure to call them and ask if the company they work for is looking for a specialist in your profile. You should not be shy, because each of us may find ourselves in a situation where he urgently needs to find a job.
Step 5
Don't forget about job fairs - they are held regularly. The chances of finding a job on them are low, but it's worth a try, especially if you have free time.
Step 6
On the Internet, you should not be limited only to job search sites. Make a list of successful companies that you would like to work for and browse their sites. Many companies post jobs on their websites. It is also worth going to the forums where experts in your field communicate, since vacancies are sometimes posted there too.
Step 7
Prepare for every interview: at a minimum, you should go to the website of the company where you were invited for an interview and see what they do. A candidate who doesn't care where to work may seem dull.
Step 8
If your job search nevertheless dragged on, or if you were made a not very good, or even dubious offer, do not rush to agree only because of the money. In almost any field, you can make money at home - at least for a humble life. Those who know a foreign language well can take translations at home, those who write can do copywriting, etc. If you cannot find a suitable vacancy for a long time, it is better to take a small part-time job and look for a job further. Thus, you will have the funds, and you will be able to look for the right job for you for some time.
