The work schedule and work week can vary depending on the position, which can complicate the calculation of seniority and wages. The Labor Code of the Russian Federation has a clear indication of how working days should be counted.
Instructions
Step 1
Working days, in accordance with the labor legislation of the Russian Federation, are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. During this period, the employee is obliged to perform labor duties in accordance with the internal labor regulations and the terms of the employment contract. In this case, the total duration of working time during the week should not exceed 40 hours. Thus, in just a month, 20 days worked should be taken into account when calculating wages.
Step 2
The number of working days in the billing period can be increased for various reasons. For example, if an employee has expressed a desire to go to work on a weekend or a holiday, as well as in case of unforeseen circumstances in connection with which such a need arose. In this case, additional working days are also added to the existing ones and taken into account when calculating the salary.
Step 3
In addition, it is important to take into account the days on which the employee was on sick leave or was absent for other valid reasons specified in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. They are included in the total number of working days for the current period and are paid in accordance with the norms established by law.
Step 4
By agreement between the employer and the employee, part-time or part-time work can be established. First of all, minors, pregnant women, single parents raising a child, and also persons caring for a sick family member have the right to this privilege.
Step 5
Also, a shorter working week is established for those who work in unhealthy conditions. In this situation, a daily or hourly wage rate is set, therefore, in the billing period, it is necessary to take into account the amount of days or hours worked in accordance with the employment contract.
