In some enterprises, high staff turnover is common. People can be fired for any reason, even for the smallest violations. There are many reasons why high turnover is not just the fault of the employer, but also beneficial to him.
Staff turnover in a company is a process when employees of an enterprise, having worked there for some time, leave of their own accord, or the management finds a reason for dismissal, often far-fetched and frivolous. High turnover is harmful for the company and employees: it contributes to the insecurity of personnel, the lack of stability of the company and the confidence of employees in career growth - all this makes up a not very positive image of the company, against the background of its competitors it will look unprofitable. However, some employers do not at all need their company to be highly valued by employees; often they do not even strive for the latter to stay with them for a long time. There are reasons for this.
High pressure on employees
When an employee works in a company on a full-time basis, brings it benefits and income, he begins to count on an increase in salary, annual or quarterly bonuses, social guarantees of his work. Such a specialist ceases to flatter his boss, to be afraid of making a mistake. In many ways, he develops, acquires new skills and does his job much better than any newcomer, but at the same time he does not risk losing his job so much and therefore relaxes, allows himself to devote some time to extraneous matters in his workplace, more often is late or leaves the office earlier.
High turnover helps the employer to cope with all these signs of an overdue employee. After all, if employees know that they can be fired for any oversight, like spilling coffee on a document or showing the slightest disrespect to their superiors, they begin to work much harder and behave politely. No one will drink coffee at their desk, stay late in the afternoon or quarrel with the head of the enterprise. This kind of additional power over subordinates gives the boss confidence that employees will try to do the job much better than those who have all the guarantees and enjoy a good management attitude.
Tax fraud
But besides this, there are more materialistic reasons for such an attitude towards employees. Some companies are hiring staff on a trial basis. Moreover, its conditions are extremely disadvantageous for the employee, but very beneficial for the management. During the probationary period - that is, up to 3 months - the employee is not provided with any social package, the minimum salary is charged, but such an employee is loaded at full capacity, often forcing him to work overtime. And when the deadline for signing a full-fledged employment contract comes, they say goodbye to the employee. This gives the employer the opportunity not to pay taxes for such a subordinate, or to make them minimal. Such an employee has nowhere to complain about such an attitude - after all, he himself signed the working conditions, and in most cases legal documents will not be on his side.
