Many people work so hard and so passionately that they simply don't have time for anything else. As practice shows, this approach to business is not as good as it seems at first glance.
New hobby
Find a hobby that you love to take your mind off work. Such a hobby should completely involve you in the activity and not give you a chance to stop. Sports, dancing, Sudoku or crossword puzzles are good examples of this.
Goals
Setting life goals along the same lines as setting work goals can be a good catalyst for distraction from work. Set goals as part of your newly established hobby, and very soon you will notice that you are distracted from work and take on a new business with the same enthusiasm.
Meetings
Business people usually have a keen sense of responsibility. Thus, having scheduled a meeting with friends for the evening, you will involuntarily have to give up your usual overtime work and meet with loved ones.
Pareto rule
Have you heard of the 80/20 principle? It says that only 20 percent of all our efforts bring 80 percent of the result, and conversely, 80 percent of the efforts bring only 20 percent of the result. Know how to distinguish the really important things that contribute to your career advancement from the unimportant and burdensome ones that only take up your time.
