As the FSB officers themselves note, a citizen of the Russian Federation can work in the bodies of the federal security service, capable of fulfilling the duties assigned to him in terms of his personal and business qualities, age, education and state of health, and ready to work in any region of Russia.

Of course, it will be difficult for a person from the street to become an FSB officer. It is necessary, for example, to graduate from the FSB Academy. There you must decide in which direction you are going to study. Will it be a technical direction, intelligence, or legal. As soon as you decide on the field of activity, you have to contact the local FSB department. If your appearance is not in doubt among specialists, you will be asked to undergo a medical commission, psychological testing, and exams. Perhaps the exams will have to be taken at the Academy itself.
Step 3
You can do without the FSB Academy. Contacting the local office of the Service with an application is the first condition. Next, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, possibly with a detailed description of not only the pedigree, but also the personal biography and biography of the parents. If your candidacy satisfies the specialists of the territorial body, you will be given the opportunity to undergo a medical examination. In general, the consideration of candidates takes place within a month.
