Step 1

First, organize your workplace. It should always be ready to go. It is easier for a writer - he can just turn on the computer and start writing right away, while a musician playing an electric guitar must first prepare it for work if it is in a case and not connected to the equipment. The connection process can take a long time to forget what you were actually going to play. You should have a separate table with the tools necessary for your work, which you will not have to spend time looking for.

Step 2

Eight hours a day devoted to work is the optimal amount of time. If you devote more time to your work, then there will not be much sense, since by the end of this period concentration, memory and work efficiency are significantly reduced. Set aside another 8 hours for proper sleep, and devote the rest to yourself, your hobbies, friends and family. Experience has shown that such a balance is ideal.

Step 3

Perform routine work that does not require much creative effort and mental effort. For some reason, ingenious thoughts and ideas very often come at a time when your head is free from tense thoughts - when you wash dishes, brush your teeth, do housework. Take quarter-hour breaks after 45 minutes, switch to drinking tea, chatting with friends. Your head also rests, and then begins to work with renewed vigor.

Step 4

Analyze your unwillingness to work and eliminate it. Perhaps the reluctance to work on a project is due to the fact that you do not know the proposed topic very well or do not want to meet with the client because you do not understand his requirements. Resolve these issues and troubleshoot issues.

Step 5

Set yourself tasks correctly and outline strategic goals, each of your actions should have a clearly defined meaning, explicit or hidden. Determine the meaning of the project at the level of universal human values: what is your work for, what the customer expects from you, other people. A well-defined goal is almost half of the work done.
