The work schedule is set by the employer in accordance with the specifics of the enterprise. It sets the time and duration of each shift. In addition, the schedule regulates the number, duration, and start time of lunch and rest breaks. If necessary, you can adjust the approved work schedule and make the appropriate changes.

Instructions

Step 1

Changing the work schedule is possible no more than once a month. This need is usually associated with changes in the working conditions of employees or the restructuring of the staff. The work schedule can be an annex to the collective agreement (Article 103 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation) or an independent document. In the first case, the necessary changes are also made to the employment contract, in the second - only to an independent regulatory document governing the mode of operation at the enterprise. You can arrange it as an appendix to the internal labor regulations. But in any case, upon approval, both the work schedule itself and the changes made to it must be agreed with the representative body of workers in accordance with Art. 190 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

Step 2

The employer is obliged to notify employees of a change in the work schedule in advance, no later than a month in advance. The fact of acquaintance must be necessarily certified by the signature of the employee. In the event that such a procedure has not been carried out, the work schedule and changes made to it are considered illegal.

Step 3

If the drawing up of a new work schedule is associated with a change in the organizational or technological working conditions, then it is necessary to warn workers about it two months before the introduction. If the employee does not agree with them, and the enterprise cannot offer him another job, then in accordance with Art. 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the employment contract may be terminated.

Step 4

When making changes, it is necessary to take into account the norms of working hours, which are established by the new document. In the event that they exceed the statutory norm, provide an accounting period at the end of which employees will be paid cash compensation for overtime work.

Step 5

After making changes to the work schedule and their approval, it is necessary to draw up an order to put the new work schedule into effect. The text of the order indicates the established parameters of the working day, and as a basis, a reference to the regulatory document itself is given.
