To work less and do more is the dream of almost every person. It is quite difficult, but, fortunately, it is quite possible, you just have to adhere to some laws.
The 80/20 rule
This rule states that 20 percent of all efforts will produce 80 percent of all results. This is a paradox, which is nevertheless always confirmed. So try to negate 80 percent of unsuccessful efforts as much as possible: focus on the essentials and spend less time on the little things.
Parkinson's law
Any work will take all the time that you have allocated for it. Therefore, it is so important to set a clear framework and set a very specific deadline.
Energy management
According to this law, a single effort will give a greater result than daily monotonous work. If you have a solid project, set aside time, sit down and finish it in one go. It will be more effective than spending a few tedious hours every day. Clearly separate the periods of work and rest (here the tomato method will help you: 25 minutes of work + 5 minutes of rest), and also have a good rest and play after the end of work on the project.
Delegation of responsibilities
Unfortunately, you cannot be the best at everything. So just hand over some of the responsibilities that you are not very good at to someone who is a pro in this business. This will save time, effort and give you 100% better results.
Numbers
Accurate calculations will help you to objectively assess all the pros and cons of the project. Never limit yourself to rough guesses, as this approach runs the risk of overlooking many important factors.
Quality limit
Sooner or later, there comes a point when effort is no longer equal to the return. Notice this in time and move on to another task, do not waste time and energy wasted.
