To carry out installation work, a license was previously required; since 2009, the license was replaced with an admission for this type of work from a self-regulatory construction organization (SRO). This admission is issued only to members of a self-regulatory organization.

Step 1
On January 1, 2009, the issuance of construction licenses was terminated, and all licenses issued up to this point became invalid. Instead of a license, the admission of a self-regulatory organization became a guarantee of the quality of construction work. To get permission to carry out installation work, join this organization of your type of activity.
Step 2
Membership in a self-regulatory organization is a mandatory requirement for all representatives of the construction industry. Without this permission, your activity will be considered illegal and you will not be able to put the facility into operation.
Step 3
In general, obtaining admission is not much different from the procedure for issuing a license. To obtain admission, write to the organization a statement of your desire to become a member and submit your constituent documents:
- a notarized copy of the charter;
- a copy of the memorandum of association;
- a copy of the certificate of assignment of the main state registration number;
- a copy of the tax identification number, all changes and amendments to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities;
- a notarized copy of a certificate from the State Statistics Committee on the assignment of an all-Russian classifier of types of economic activity;
- an extract from the unified state register;
- lease agreement or a copy of the certificate of ownership of the building;
- copies of the diploma of the general director and specialists of the company;
- bank details, etc.
Step 4
If you do not have the time and desire to collect and execute all the necessary documents to obtain a certificate of admission to construction and installation work, use the services of intermediary firms.
Step 5
After payment of the membership fee and verification of all documents, you will be issued a permit for installation work. It is valid throughout Russia and has an unlimited period. The certificate of admission ends only if you violate the rules of membership or leave the self-regulatory organization.
