All foreign citizens arriving in Russia for a specific period must obtain a temporary residence permit. On the basis of this permit, a foreigner can live in Russia until he receives a residence permit. You can apply for temporary residence by collecting all the necessary documents and contacting the authorities of the FMS of Russia.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are a citizen who arrived in Russia in a manner requiring a visa, then you must provide the following package of documents:

Application with a request to issue a temporary residence permit. There is an established form that you must fill out and submit to the territorial bodies of the FMS in two copies.
Step 3
4 photos 35 x 45 mm. They can be black and white or color. The main thing is that they are clear. If there are minor children, please provide 2 photos of all minor children listed on your application.
Step 4
Identification. It can be a passport or any other document recognized by Russia as an identity document in accordance with an international treaty.
Step 5
A document that confirms the presence or absence of a criminal record.
Step 6
Residence permit or other document that confirms that you do not live in the state of which you are a citizen. This document must be drawn up by the authorized body of this state.
Step 7
Marriage certificate.
Step 8
Child's birth certificate.
Step 9
Identity document for your child, if he is under eighteen years of age. If the child already has a passport, present it.
Step 10
A document confirming that the child agrees to move to Russia. This requirement is valid for children aged 14-18. The child's signature must be notarized.
Step 11
Certificate that you and all your family members are HIV-free.
Step 12
A document confirming that neither you nor your family members are sick with drug addiction and are not infected with infections, the list of which is approved by the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation. This document can be issued both by an authorized body of a foreign state and by an authorized healthcare institution of the Russian Federation.
Step 13
If you are a citizen who does not require a visa, then you will be required to:
Statement. 4 photos 35 x 45 mm. They can be black and white or color. The main thing is that they are clear. If you have minor children, please provide 2 photos of all minor children listed on your application.

Certificate that you are registered with the tax authority.
