A container is a reliable means of delivering goods. In it you can transfer household items to another city. In order for them to arrive at their destination without damage, you need to prepare them and place them correctly in the container.

Step 1
Prepare your belongings for container shipping
Fragile and breakable items require special attention. Find boxes for them that fit snugly along with the bubble wrap. Stick small pieces of red tape on sensitive containers. This will help to properly place the cargo in the container and pay attention when loading and unloading. Fold heavy books and albums in three-layer cardboard boxes, having previously secured the bottom with tape. To prevent small things from getting lost when moving, combine them together. For soft cargo: clothes, bed linen, blankets, bedspreads, etc. use bags or large bags. Be sure to briefly write about the content on them, so as not to open everything at once upon arrival.
Step 2
Take apart large items. Detach the legs and free the furniture from fragile parts. Wrap mirrors and glass elements thoroughly in air bubble wrap. Remove all handles and put them in a bag. To prevent doors and drawers from opening on non-separable furniture during movement, fix the facades with plastic wrap or foam. Pack the disassembled elements in pairs, shifting each layer with a soft material: corrugated cardboard, blanket, bedspread, rug. Sheathe soft sofas and armchairs with unnecessary curtains or old tablecloths - this will protect the upholstery from dirt. Roll carpets, tie in several places and wrap with foil.
Step 3
Place things in a container
Place cardboard or packaging from large household appliances on the floor. Make use of every corner of the container space. To prevent boxes and boxes from moving inside, place them in several tiers throughout the entire volume. When placing the load, distribute its weight evenly over the entire area. First, put furniture and household appliances in a wooden crate: refrigerator, freezer, washing machine. Oversized cargo will become a stable base for boxes of the next tier. To prevent heavy things from bumping into each other on the way, use cushioning material: plywood, foam sheets or pressed cardboard. If large items take up little space, place them in the middle of the container and secure with spacers on both sides. On the second tier, on top of furniture and boxes, place cardboard boxes and fragile cargo. Secure containers with glass, mirrors and lamps with soft bags, tote bags and carpets. After filling the entire space tightly, make sure that the container is sealed and accepted by the person responsible for loading.
