In accordance with the amendments to Federal Law 167-F3 on compulsory pension insurance, all children, starting from birth, must issue an insurance certificate of compulsory pension insurance until 2012. To draw up this document, you need to contact the territorial Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
Necessary
- - your passport (if the child is under 14 years old);
- - application form (will be issued at the Pension Fund);
- - birth certificate of the child;
- - passport of the child (if he is over 14 years old).
Instructions
Step 1
If your child is under 14, apply to the Pension Fund with your passport and child's birth certificate. Do this immediately after the birth of the baby and receiving a birth certificate from the registry office.
Step 2
Fill out the proposed questionnaire, submit the specified documents. After the allotted time, and it can be different in each subject of the Russian Federation, from one week to 1 month, you will receive a green insurance certificate in plastic design. It will indicate the child's full name, date, month and year of birth, place of birth, gender and date of registration. Each certificate has an individual personal account number (SNILS).
Step 3
If your child is 14 years old or older, then apply to the Pension Fund with the child. Present the child's passport. He will have to fill out the questionnaire himself and put his signature. After the specified time, you will be issued a pension insurance certificate.
Step 4
Have time to issue a pension insurance certificate for a child until 2012, since it is this year that electronic cards will be issued to all citizens of the Russian Federation, starting from the age of 14. They will be required when servicing in medical institutions, when applying to kindergartens, schools, and for employment. That is, the received document will be a social guarantee for the population provided by the state.
Step 5
If you do not have time to issue an insurance certificate for your child, then you run the risk of making it urgently, since without an electronic card, into which the individual number of your retirement personal account will be entered, you risk not receiving medical assistance unless it is caused by an emergency and other free social guarantees. Moreover, the insurance certificate is issued completely free of charge and only the specified documents need to be presented.
