If you are thinking about changing the field of activity, first of all, decide on what you definitely want to do. You have a huge advantage over students and young professionals - experience. You know life much better and you can more clearly articulate global goals for yourself.

Perhaps a good solution would be to work in a different specialty in the same organization where you work, as this will raise fewer questions from future employers.

Regardless of what exactly you choose as a new profession, you should not rush into the pool with your head. It will be much more practical to try yourself in a new business without burning bridges: for example, if you think you could work as a designer, and not as a sales manager, try doing this in your free time, completing orders on the Internet or for acquaintances. This way you will be able to more clearly understand what kind of knowledge and skills you need to successfully work in a new specialty.
