Very often, the opportunity to get an additional 10 free hours during the work week seems ghostly and impossible to us. However, it is quite possible to do this.
Limit the time spent on the Internet
Install a special application that allows you to track the time spent on the Internet, as well as restrict access to some sites (this will allow you to spend less time on social networks). The Internet itself is not bad, but people generally spend more time navigating aimlessly between sites than looking for useful information.
Access emails only once
Get rid of the habit of rereading emails, it doesn't make any sense. Better after the first reading, immediately accept this or that decision regarding the problem posed in the letter, and do not return to this in the future.
Follow the three minute rule
It says that if an action takes us less than three minutes, it must be done immediately. It's amazing how many people add these things to their calendar instead of dealing with them right away.
Stop attending unimportant meetings
Every meeting should make sense. If the topic of the meeting doesn't fit your work, it's best to skip it. Of course, we are talking about business meetings, not personal ones.
Schedule work to be done
In addition to encouraging discipline, such a schedule will give you the ability to easily turn down unimportant appointments.
Encourage the "don't follow through" habit
There are cases that are not worth finishing. As soon as you realize that this is exactly the case before you, put it aside and do something more important. Don't waste time on nonsense. This state of affairs should not cause you to feel guilty for not completing something - this is the right and necessary decision.
Weekly overview
At the end of the week, review what you've accomplished in the previous week and plan for the next. This approach always allows you to keep your finger on the pulse and control your life.
