Regular annual paid leave is a guaranteed type of rest provided to all employees working under an employment contract. The procedure for obtaining leave is specified in Chapter 19 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

Instructions
Step 1
In accordance with labor legislation, annual paid leave cannot be less than 28 calendar days. You can receive it in full or in parts, but one part must be 14 days, the remaining 14 days you have the right to take during the year in any parts.
Step 2
If you plan to split the vacation, notify the employer in writing before scheduling the vacation. The schedule is drawn up by the responsible HR representative, taking into account the wishes of employees when they would like to go on vacation.
Step 3
If you need to get another vacation outside the schedule, submit a written application addressed to the head of the company. The manager cannot refuse this request: - for parents with more than two children under the age of 12; - for pregnant women; - for women who have not finished parental leave; - for husbands whose wives are on maternity leave; - underage employees; - disabled; - part-time workers; - spouses of military personnel; - veterans of the Great Patriotic War; - war veterans; - full holders of the Order of Glory; - honorary donors of the Russian Federation; - Heroes of the USSR and the Russian Federation; - employees who eliminated the accident in Chernobyl … All other employees are granted leave according to the schedule or in agreement with the management.
Step 4
You can get the first vacation after working at the company for 6 months. The manager has the right to grant and pay for the next vacation, due for the entire year or according to the period worked.
Step 5
Payment must be made three days before the start of the next vacation. If you have not been paid vacation pay on time, you have the right to postpone your next vacation at any time convenient for you or apply to the labor inspectorate and demand to pay a penalty in the amount of 1/300 of the amount of vacation pay for each day of delay in payments.
Step 6
The amount of vacation pay is calculated based on the average earnings for 12 months, unless otherwise specified in the internal regulations of your company. Other instructions should not infringe upon the rights of employees and the amount paid for the vacation cannot be less than if the payment was made according to the average earnings for 12 months.
