In Ukraine, not only its citizens can work, but also foreigners. However, in order to employ a person from another country, the employer must obtain the appropriate permit.

Instructions
Step 1
If a citizen of Ukraine is hired, conclude an employment contract with him orally or in writing. For some categories of workers, a contract is required. Issue an order on the acceptance of a person for work, familiarizing him with it against signature. Enter the appropriate entry in the employee's work book. For admission to perform certain types of work on behalf of the person, you may additionally need a medical certificate and a health book.
Step 2
In the case when a citizen of Ukraine is employed by a private entrepreneur or just an individual, conclude a written employment contract with the employee in the prescribed form. Within 7 days, register it at the employment center at the place of registration (residence) of the employer.
Step 3
To employ a foreigner, obtain a work permit. It is issued by the employment centers of the regions, as well as the cities of Kiev and Sevastopol. In order to obtain a work permit for a foreigner, the company must prove that there are no qualified people in Ukraine who are able to perform such work.
Step 4
No later than 15 days before the start of the permitting procedure, submit to the employment center information on the availability of demand for labor. It is necessary for the possible employment of Ukrainian citizens for an existing vacancy.
Step 5
To obtain a permit, provide: an application, copies of documents confirming the qualifications of a foreigner, a copy of a foreigner's passport, 2 color photographs of him 3.5 x 4.5 cm in size. requires admission to state secrets, a certificate stating that the foreigner is not involved in criminal prosecutions. Documents drawn up in a foreign language must be translated into Ukrainian, certified in the country of issue and legalized.
Step 6
Wait for an order from the employment center to issue a work permit for a foreigner. Pay the permit fee, which is 4 minimum wages (in 2014 it is 4872 hryvnia). Obtain a work permit from the employment center. It is valid for 1 to 3 years. After the expiry of the permit, renew it if the foreigner's services are still needed.
Step 7
After receiving the permit, conclude a contract with the foreigner. Submit a copy, certified by the company, to the employment center within 3 days.
