What makes a person a leader

In any organized society, team, group of people, there is someone who leads them. A leader is a person who has authority, stands out clearly from others and is not afraid to make decisions. Leaders are formal and informal. A formal leader is someone who holds some formal leadership position. Informal - a person who is respected by people, but does not hold a high position or official position.

Charisma must be present among the main qualities of a leader. This word denotes the special emotional and mental qualities of a person, thanks to which he can influence the opinion of other people, forcing them to move in the right direction. Charismatic leaders easily convince people that they are right, and have a serious impact on the crowd.

Any leader must have a wide variety of knowledge. He must be erudite, smart and quick-witted. A person who knows how to answer simply and competently to a complex question attracts other people, inspires their trust and respect. It is very important to show your erudition, but it is more important not to demonstrate such dismissive superiority. Such manifestations neutralize all the positive effect.

Human factor

A true leader must be decisive. It is important for him to be able to analyze the situation and make important decisions. Any decision entails a responsibility that a true leader should not be afraid to take on. Having made a decision, "jumping", the leader must soberly assess his risk. All this requires tremendous willpower; without it, it is difficult to endure permanent emotional stress.

Self-confidence is one of the components of the personality of a true leader. A person who does not spend time convincing himself that he is righteous, who knows how and what he achieves, a person who can inspire confidence in other people - an ideal leader who can attract a huge number of supporters to his side.

The ability to evaluate, recognize and accept the merits of others is very important for a person who is in a leadership position. It is necessary to understand the motivations of people, to analyze their abilities - this allows you to properly manage them, "reveal" them, choosing the right kind of work. Without the ability to highlight and reward the merits of subordinates, it is impossible to become a good leader.

Almost all of the above qualities can be nurtured by yourself if you set such a goal. Self-improvement, correct setting of tasks will allow any person to make himself an exemplary leader.
