Finding a job, especially in a city where you don't know anyone, is not an easy task. But this does not mean that it is not destiny for a non-indigenous city dweller to take a decent job. A couple of acquaintances makes the dream job many times closer, and in order to acquire useful contacts, it is enough to periodically visit the right places and communicate with the right people.

Step 1
Create pages on popular social networks and subscribe to updates of thematic communities. This will allow you to keep abreast of upcoming events in your field of activity.
Step 2
Track events, seminars, meetings and conferences taking place in your city or nearby cities. If possible, try to attend, if not every "get-together", then at least one conference or seminar a month.
Step 3
Immediately before the event, try to get to know the speakers and other guests of the meeting through social networks. Do not impose on people, communicate strictly on the topic, to personal questions like "How are you?" have to go later.
Step 4
Be sure to meet like-minded people when you meet. It doesn't matter how long and close you have been communicating by correspondence, direct dialogue is much more important. People who know how to communicate competently in real life, outside of social networks, are taken more seriously.

Pay more attention to communicating with people of some importance in your industry. We are not talking about an open search for benefits in communication, if you prove yourself correctly, then the “right” person will lend you a helping hand anyway.
Step 6
Feel free to demonstrate your knowledge and share your achievements with the right company. If new acquaintances do not know that you are a certified programmer, then hardly any of them will guess to offer you to take a vacant position in their corporation.
Step 7
Even if your acquaintances, although they turned out to be your like-minded people, cannot be useful to you in the search for a new job, do not lose contact with them. It is quite possible that it is they who will introduce you to the very necessary people who can become your magic wands.
Step 8
Do not forget that so that people do not think that you are communicating with them solely for the sake of profit, you need not only work with them, but also rest. Going out into nature or going to a club for a party is a great way to cement a relationship and communicate “without ties,” which is also often very useful.
