Instructions

Step 1

Annual paid vacation. It can be basic or elongated. This type of vacation is granted to all employees, without exception, in accordance with the existing vacation schedule at the enterprise. The regular annual rest usually lasts at least 28 calendar days. Certain categories of citizens may be granted extended annual leave. For some employees, for example, in government agencies, the time spent on the road to the place of rest and back may not be counted on vacation days.

Step 2

When working conditions are more difficult than usual, additional leave may be granted in addition to the annual leave required. Those who are entitled to this leave include workers who have irregular working hours, people working in hazardous or harmful conditions in the Far North.

Step 3

If an employee's work is combined with study, he should be additionally provided with study leave. For this, you need a basis, namely, a certificate-call from an educational institution. How long the study leave lasts depends on its goals, on the level of the educational institution and the form of study. It is not always paid.

Step 4

Unpaid or administrative leave that does not imply wages is the removal from an employee of the duties that he performs, without pay. Also called "own account" vacation. It may be based on the employee's desire, family circumstances, or some other good reason. The period for which this vacation is given is determined by the agreement between the employee and his employer.

Step 5

Maternity leave, also called maternity leave, is 140 calendar days. It should be made available to all female staff during antenatal and postpartum rehabilitation. The leave is extended if complications arise during childbirth or if multiple pregnancies occur.

Step 6

When maternity leave expires, the mother may be granted parental leave. However, such leave may be granted not necessarily to the mother, but also to the father, or some other relative who will take care of the child until the child turns three years old.

Step 7

In addition to the working population, leave is also provided for students of educational institutions. It's called an academic leave. Such leave is given to students in connection with any medical condition, for family reasons, because of conscription for military service, for other valid reasons. The length of the sabbatical leave varies, in most cases it varies from six months to a year.
