A modern employee, like a squirrel, starts his day with work and often ends with it. In conditions of constant stress, the only way to relax after a hard day (and even during it) is food, cigarettes, or a flask with a strong drink hidden just in case. All of these methods have a detrimental effect on health and reduce life expectancy. But there are other, useful and simple, relaxation options right in the workplace.
Necessary
- - paper;
- - pleasant music;
- - comfortable armchair;
- - cooler nearby;
- - essential oils.
Instructions
Step 1
Instead of surfing social media for a short break or straining your eyes with an e-book, do this simple exercise. Clasp your hands in a lock, perform circular rotational movements with your head, do eye gymnastics. These simple workouts will not distract you from work, on the contrary, they will tune in to the right wave.
Step 2
Ventilate the room often. The influx of fresh air will saturate your brain with oxygen and help it work even more efficiently. Remember to drink plenty of fluids, which will help your body function better and flush out unnecessary toxins. Aromatherapy is also a good way to relax. Citrus and floral aromas will awaken your brain activity, help you find new solutions to the problem and relieve fatigue.
Step 3
A good way to relax is to keep your hands busy during the break. But do not frantically grab the mouse. Better take paper and try yourself in the art of origami. Make it a rule to fold one figure a day, and soon your workplace will be decorated in an original way, and you will get the opportunity to relax without leaving your office chair.
Step 4
If it is possible to disconnect from external sounds, a relaxation technique will help you. Close your eyes and inhale deeply through your nose for a count of 5. Do this several times, you will feel the muscles relax. At the same time, you can imagine that you are in some picturesque place where peace reigns. Put on some relaxing music and dream a little.
