Thus, only a licensed security guard can provide services for the protection of citizens or property on a paid basis, ensure order during various events at which a large number of citizens are present (concerts, presentations, exhibitions), and also advise on legal protection issues.

Step 1
Currently, the only permitting document for engaging in private security activities is a private security guard's certificate issued for a five-year period by the licensing and permitting group of the internal affairs body to persons who have reached 18 years of age, have undergone special training, have no criminal record, have not been brought to administrative responsibility and have diseases that prevent the work of a private security guard. To obtain a security guard license, you must contact the group of licensing and permitting works of the internal affairs body. The work of the internal affairs bodies for the issuance and renewal of certificates of a private security guard is carried out in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of June 19, 2006 No. 447.
Step 2
To obtain a license (certificate) of a private security guard, first go through a medical commission. Then listen to theoretical and practical training in a licensed organization, in special courses for the training of private security guards.
Step 3
After that, submit documents for licensing to the licensing group of the Department of Internal Affairs: 2 copies of 4x6 photos, a copy of your passport, a medical certificate, copies of certificates of special training and qualifications of a private security guard and a receipt for payment of state fees.
Step 4
To qualify as a private security guard, take an exam, which is accepted by a special commission at the internal affairs body. The exam consists of theoretical and practical parts, i.e. the commission checks the knowledge of the current legislation in the field of security activities, the rights and obligations of a private security guard, as well as the skills of using special means and weapons.
Step 5
After passing the medical commission and professional training, collecting and submitting the necessary documents and successfully passing the qualification exam, get a certificate of a private security guard and you can go to work.
