The functions of bailiffs-executors are determined by the law "On bailiffs". The work of the bailiffs includes the enforcement of court decisions and acts of other state institutions. Currently, the powers of bailiffs have been expanded, so they have the right to resolve many issues on their own, without waiting for additional court sanctions.

Step 1
One of the main directions in the activities of the bailiff is work on the timely and accurate execution of court decisions and acts of other competent authorities. The basis for starting such work is the executive document. Having received it, the bailiff initiates the corresponding enforcement proceedings and carries out a number of measures within its framework.
Step 2
Executive documents can be very different. These are, for example, court orders; orders of execution received from courts of general jurisdiction; alimony agreements; certificates issued by labor dispute commissions; judicial acts in cases of administrative offenses and so on.
Step 3
Having instituted enforcement proceedings, the bailiff takes the measures provided by law to execute the received document. At the same time, he has to meet with the parties to the case or their legal representatives, acquaint them with the case materials, accept applications and petitions from the parties, and issue appropriate resolutions.
Step 4
One of the stages of the bailiff's work is the collection and processing of personal data necessary for the execution of a court decision or other body. In necessary cases, the bailiff-executor takes measures to search for an individual or his property.
Step 5
As part of the enforcement proceedings, the bailiff seizes the debtor's property, including his bank accounts, and imposes a penalty on wages. The bailiff can also restrict the debtor's travel abroad.
Step 6
In cases stipulated by law, the bailiff shall seize the seized property and take measures to sell it. The powers of the bailiff also include the forced eviction of the debtor from the occupied premises and the settling of the claimant by the appropriate court decision.
Step 7
Solving official tasks, the bailiff works in close contact with employees of migration registration bodies and internal affairs bodies, servicemen of the internal troops, representatives of other state authorities.
