Step 1

The basis for granting leave is a certificate-call from the educational institution in which the employee is receiving education. Before starting the registration of such a vacation, ask the employee to write a statement addressed to the head of the organization. Its content may be as follows: “In accordance with article 173 of the Labor Code, I ask you to grant me a study leave from April 01, 2012 to April 30, 2012 for the spring examination session. I attach a call-out certificate dated April 10, 2012 No. 1 . The application must be accompanied by a certificate, which consists of two parts: a call and confirmation.

Step 2

Draw up an order for the granting of study leave. To do this, use the unified form No. T-6. First, enter the information about the company (name, OKPO code). Next, indicate the document number and the date it was drawn up.

Next, enter information about the employee himself (full name, position, personnel number). Leave item "A" blank, but in "B" indicate that the vacation is a study. Enter a start date and an end date. Enter the total number of vacation days below. Sign the administrative document and give it to the employee for signature.

Step 4

After that, enter the information on the employee's personal card (form No. T-2). To do this, in section 8 "Vacation", indicate the type of vacation, start and end date, total number of days, basis (order).

Step 5

In the time sheet (form No. T-12 or No. T-13), opposite the name of the employee, put the designation of the educational leave - "U".

Step 6

Based on the order, the accountant must calculate and draw up a calculation note. It is on the basis of this data that payments are made.
