In accordance with article 255 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the employer is obliged to provide parental leave for a child up to three years old. It can be issued by a woman who has given birth or adopted a child, or a close relative who will take care of the child. The granting of leave must be reflected in the order of the unified form No. T-6 approved by the State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation on 5.01.2004 under No. 1.

Instructions

Step 1

Nursing leave is granted the day after the end of the maternity leave. Up to one and a half years, it is paid at the rate of 40% of the average salary for the 24 months preceding the vacation. Vacation from one and a half to three years is not paid. An employee who takes leave must receive two applications - for a vacation until the child reaches one and a half years old and for a vacation from one and a half to three years.

Step 2

The application should indicate the start and end dates of the vacation and attach a list of documents. The submitted documents include: a copy of the child's birth certificate; certificate from the spouse's place of work that he does not use this vacation. If parental leave is issued by a grandmother or another close relative, then you need to submit a certificate from the place of work of the mother and father of the child that the parents do not use the parental leave.

Step 3

Parents or relatives who take parental leave for an adopted child need, in addition to the specified documents, to submit a copy of the court decision on adoption and a certificate confirming the adoption.

Step 4

On the basis of the submitted documents, the employer issues an order of the unified form No. T-6. The order is drawn up in two copies, one copy for the personnel department, the other for the accounting department, so that the allowance is calculated. The employee who takes out the vacation is introduced to the order against signature.

Step 5

The order indicates the full name of the employee, position, number of the structural unit in which he worked. The employer writes that he orders the granting of parental leave up to one and a half or three years, depending on the application submitted. Indicates from what day, month and year the vacation is granted and up to what day, month and year inclusive. Also, the order includes a list of documents on the basis of which the vacation was granted.
