But ensuring the safety of working conditions is mandatory for all organizations. Labor protection is designed to improve the efficiency of employees and protect against losses that have arisen due to downtime.
Article 212 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation states that the employer must ensure labor protection for employees and make working conditions safe. This includes both the mode of operation, and instructions on how to conduct the work process, and the safety of the process itself. Violation of these norms is severely punished. When creating a labor protection service, first of all, it is necessary to appoint a responsible person. If the organization is small and has less than 100 employees, then any of the most suitable of them can perform this function in combination. Conducting regular medical examinations and organizing medical nutrition at the expense of the organization will become measures to protect the health of workers. It is necessary to become familiar with the regulatory, technical and regulatory documents on labor protection, especially those related to fire safety. A procedure such as certification of workplaces must necessarily be regulated. During certification, workplaces are assessed for hygiene, injury risk, exposure to harmful production factors. This procedure is carried out at least once every five years. An integral requirement of labor protection is the conduct of briefings, which is carried out regardless of the type of activity of the organization. Labor protection certificates are presented to the employee against receipt. A typical instruction for employees should contain general safety requirements; safety requirements before starting, during and after work; safety requirements in emergency situations. Employees need to be aware of what activities are prohibited in the plant and must be instructed by a supervisor who has received health and safety training. In the established journal, workers must sign the instructions they have received. Occupational health and safety requirements in the office prescribe instruction on the correct handling of office equipment and electrical appliances. If it is necessary to carry out one-time work, targeted instruction is carried out. In Russia, labor protection is an important component of any enterprise. Supervision and state control of compliance with labor standards is carried out by the federal executive authorities and the federal labor inspectorate under the Ministry of Health and Social Development. Administrative, criminal, disciplinary and civil liability shall be borne by persons guilty of non-observance of labor protection requirements.
