It is compiled not only for forgetful people, but also for employees of an enterprise, tourists, prisoners, students, etc. Despite the fact that memos on each topic have their own specifics, the general procedure for their preparation is approximately the same.

Step 1
First, clearly define the boundaries of the topic on which you will be making the memo. It should be dedicated to a purely specific phenomenon and not touch on extraneous things.
Step 2
Using the internet or a library, gather the information and information needed for the memo. Make sure they are authentic and up-to-date. If you have doubts about the material, and it is not possible to check it, it is better not to include such information in the memo. From the rest of the information, select what is most relevant to the topic.
Step 3
Process the information you have selected. Try to reduce them as much as possible, discarding all the unimportant. Try to put the information that remains on the draft in clear, succinct and short phrases for better memorization. When shortening sentences, make sure that they do not lose their meaning. If you cannot do this, break up a long sentence into several short ones.
Step 4
Think over the text of the appeal to the reader. You should not indulge in long discussions about the benefits of your work, it is enough to indicate the relevance of this topic and the reasons that prompted you to write this memo.

Define a color scheme for the memo. You shouldn't make the cover very bright, you can even arrange it in black and white. It is advisable to leave the pages white. If you really want to - use pale colors for them (pale pink, pale green, etc.) so that the text is clearly visible. For variety, add frames or photos to your pages on the topic of the memo.
Step 6
List the information you have prepared in the checklist. On the cover, write the title in large letters. Place an introduction or message to the reader on the first page. On the following sheets, sequentially and in an accessible form, state the information prepared by you on the topic of the memo. If necessary, add diagrams or photographs of the phenomenon to which the memo is dedicated.
