And most registry offices and wedding palaces accept applications immediately for the entire wedding period. Usually convenient times and days are booked immediately, so you may have to queue up and even more than one day. This appointment can be made up to six months before the wedding.

Next, the spouses must fill out a special application form that has a side for the husband and wife, in which each of them enters their data and personally signs. It is it that confirms the voluntary consent of the newlyweds to conclude an alliance. Previously, you need to think about such an important issue as changing the surname after marriage, since such information will also need to be indicated in the application.

It is important to remember that marriage is impossible between persons, at least one of whom is already legally married; adoptive parents and adopted children; close relatives; persons, at least one of whom is incapacitated due to a mental disorder.

To submit an application to the registry office, you should have your husband's and wife's passports with you. And also a certificate of divorce (if there was a marriage in the past), permission to marry (for minors) and the application for marriage itself, which is filled out in the registry office immediately before filing.

To register a marriage, you will need to pay a state fee of 200 rubles. The form for its payment and details will be provided by the registry office employee. The main thing is not to forget to take the receipt with you on the appointed wedding day.
