For tourist, business trips, you need a passport. To register it, you need to contact the Federal Migration Service of Russia and fill out a questionnaire. But at present, the World Wide Web allows you to apply for a pass to other countries via the Internet. To do this, just go to the website of government services and issue a foreign passport without leaving your home.

Instructions
Step 1
Go to the website of Russian government services. Click on the "register" button. Read the terms of the user agreement, confirm the possibility of processing your personal data.
Step 2
Now fill out the form. Enter your personal data, insurance pension certificate number, date of your birth, and TIN. Then install the required plugin. To do this, click on the "execute" button. The download will start in your browser, after which it is required to install the downloaded file on your computer. To access the plug-in for public services, a password is required, which you can receive by mail or through the service offices of OJSC Rostelecom.
Step 3
Enter your email address and mobile phone number. The specified contacts will receive messages with an access code to your personal account. Write the required numbers in the confirmation field.
Step 4
After submitting an application for registration in the portal of state services, you will receive an activation code by mail, if you have indicated the address of your place of residence, or at the nearest office of OJSC Rostelecom.
Step 5
When you receive a response to your application for obtaining a passport in the form of a letter, enter the activation code. Then fill out the application form, pay the state fee (print the receipt from the official website of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation).
Step 6
Come to the department of the FMS of Russia and present the original documents: Russian passport, old passport (if any), TIN and pension certificate. If you want to obtain a biometric identity card valid outside the territory of the Russian Federation, take a picture directly at the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation.
Step 7
Then you will be called to put a personal signature on the questionnaire sent over the Internet. Now everything is ready, wait for the registration of the passport. As a rule, this takes a period of one month or more. Get a new document proving your identity outside of Russia.
