Applicants for jobs related to food, customer service, health care, educational services for children and trade must complete a health record upon hiring.
A medical sanitary book is a document that confirms that the employee does not have diseases that are dangerous to the surrounding environment. It contains the results of analyzes of the material taken by the employee, examinations of medical specialists and their conclusions on admission to a particular type of activity.
How to issue a sanitary book
You can issue a sanitary book at the SES or the Centers for Hygiene and Epidemiology at the place of residence or work, but you will need to pass tests and be examined by doctors at the clinic.
Forms of sanitary books of the state-established sample are not available for sale, and they can only be purchased at the SES or TsGiE, and only after passing the so-called hygienic training (san-minimum). When issuing a book, a photograph of the owner is pasted into it, in addition to photographs, an identity document must be provided.
At the place of issue of the sanitary book, the candidate receives a list of medical specialists from whom he must undergo an examination, and the tests that he must pass.
What doctors need to go through when drawing up a sanitary book
Before being examined by doctors, you need to pass tests. The mandatory list for a medical sanitary book includes a general blood test, a test for HIV or AIDS, syphilis. In addition, it is necessary to pass urine and feces, scrapings from the nasal cavities and anus, for women - a smear from the vagina. The list also includes fluorography or X-ray examination, electrocardiogram, and sometimes ultrasound of the abdominal cavity and mammary glands for women.
After receiving the test results, it is necessary to undergo an examination by a dermatologist, psychiatrist, narcologist and dentist. According to the test results, some are recommended to visit an infectious disease specialist, an ENT specialist, a dermatovenerologist. All women, without exception, need to visit a gynecologist. The final conclusion on admission to work is usually given by a general practitioner.
Depending on the characteristics of a particular profession, the list of medical specialists and analyzes may vary, as well as the duration of the conclusions. That is, when working in trade, catering, a children's educational institution, a medical examination is carried out twice a year, and employees of, for example, filling shops or beauty salons - once a year.
What confirms the authenticity of the sanitary book
Numerous private medical centers offer almost instant registration of health certificates without having a license for such a service. When drawing up this document in non-state institutions, it is necessary to ask the employees to show permission for admission to this type of activity, and when registering the book, make sure that all the necessary certifying stamps and signatures have been affixed.
The original form of the health book has a state-issued hologram, the registration numbers of the form are in the lower right corner of the second page, and the owner's photo must be certified by a seal with the inscription “For medical books”.
