One of the confirmations of the transfer of funds or other material values is a receipt. A properly issued receipt is a legally valid mechanism to ensure that the conditions are met by the parties involved. Serves as evidence of the transfer by one person to another of material values or money.
Necessary
A sheet of paper, a pen, the recipient's passport and the passport of the person transferring money or material values
Instructions
Step 1
The law does not provide for a strictly defined form of receipt. However, some requirements for drawing up a receipt must be taken into account. So, the text of the receipt can be printed, or it can be written by hand. Since handwriting is an individualizing sign of belonging to a certain person, the handwriting of a receipt will serve as additional evidence confirming the fact of transferring money or other valuables to a specific person.
Step 2
The text of the receipt should begin with the indication of the place and time of drawing up the document.
Then write the heading "Receipt".
Completely write the full name, series, number, date and place of issue of the passport, place of residence (registration) of the person receiving money or valuables. Further in the text: "Received from …" (full name, series, number, date and place of issue of the passport, place of residence (registration) of the person transferring money or valuables).
Step 3
Describing the subject of the receipt, i.e. money or specific values, give a full description of what is transferred by receipt. If it is money, then the amount is written in numbers and in words. If these are any items, then a detailed description of these items is given (their appearance, condition, quantity, location and, if possible, material assessment).
Step 4
Be sure to write down the conditions for the transfer of money or valuables. These can be interest or other obligations, transfer terms, conditions of return. Penalties for non-fulfillment of conditions can also be stipulated (for example, late fees or compensation for damage to material values).
Step 5
If the transfer of money or valuables is carried out on the basis of an agreement, then indicate the details of this agreement in the receipt.
Step 6
The certification of the receipt is carried out by means of a handwritten signature with a decryption of the signature by the person receiving the values and the person transmitting these values.
Additional assurance, which is not mandatory, may be the signing of the receipt by two witnesses. The signatures of the witnesses are accompanied by their transcript and indication of the passport data of these people. You can also write phone numbers. In case of controversy, the presence of witnesses will simplify the process of proof.
