The duty of a parent to support their child is enshrined in the Family Code of the Russian Federation. And a parent can fulfill this obligation voluntarily or with the help of the state, or rather bailiffs.

If a woman is left alone and needs material support to support a child, then it is her direct responsibility to bother her ex-spouse. To recover alimony for the maintenance of a minor child, you must apply to the court for a court order, which fixes the amount and procedure for paying alimony.

After receiving the court order, the documents are transferred to the bailiff service at the place of residence of the unscrupulous father.

The bailiff initiates an enforcement case and starts working with the debtor.
Step 6
The bailiff makes inquiries to a number of state bodies in order to establish the place of residence of the debtor, his place of work, to identify the presence of property that is in the ownership of the defaulter.
Step 7
Having collected all the necessary information, the bailiff sends a writ of execution to collect alimony at the debtor's place of work. Summons the debtor to give explanations on the failure to pay alimony. If the debtor refuses to appear before the bailiff, then the bailiff may issue a ruling and ensure the appearance of the debtor on the basis of the drive. The debtor is offered to pay off the alimony debt on a voluntary basis and within a reasonable time.
Step 8
If, after an explanatory conversation, the debtor does not wake up conscience, then further actions of the bailiff can deliver a lot of unpleasant moments to the alimony defaulter.
Step 9
In addition to sending an executive document to the place of work, a bailiff can seize property, including a vehicle, bank accounts, real estate, arrest and retain household appliances and luxury goods, and impose a ban on leaving the Russian Federation.
Step 10
If the debtor tries in every possible way to evade the execution of the court document on the payment of alimony, then he can be prosecuted and punished with compulsory labor for a period of one hundred and twenty to one hundred and eighty hours, correctional labor for a period of up to one year, arrest for a period of up to three months.
Step 11
Every mother should understand that she has no right to refuse alimony for the sake of her desires or inner convictions, since alimony is paid in favor of the mother, but for the maintenance of the child. The child has the right to lead a dignified life and have everything he needs.
