The Constitutional Court forms the basis of the legal system of any state. The right to hold the office of the chairman of the court or one of his deputies is given for a period of 6 years, but after its termination the candidate may be re-elected. The term of work of a simple judge in this authority is not limited by the time frame, but there are age restrictions - a judge cannot be younger than 40 and older than 70 years.

What are the requirements for a candidate for the office of a judge?

A candidate who can be admitted to work in the Constitutional Court must have a higher legal education, have worked in the field of jurisprudence for at least 15 years, without any complaints, reprimands or remarks. His track record must include encouraging awards, certificates, gratitude.

In the selection process, preference is given to those who have experience in refereeing in criminal, peace and administrative cases. The selection is carried out by the chairman of the constitutional court, on the basis of the documents provided and personal conversation, after which the candidacy is considered by the entire panel of judges, on the basis of which a decision is made on the approval or rejection of the candidacy.
