Instructions

Step 1

Competently write your application to the Constitutional Court. Remember that this authority considers only complaints related to violation of the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. If your application does not indicate which particular norms of constitutional law were violated in your case, your complaint will most likely not be considered.

Step 2

As with any application, you first need to correctly design the "header". Write the name of the body you are applying to (the Constitutional Court) and its address: St. Petersburg, Senatskaya Square, 1. Then write your details: full name of the applicant and his representative, address.

Step 3

Write down the details of the law that you are asking to appeal: the name and address of the institution that issued the law, the number, date, and exact title of the law, and a list of rules with which you disagree. Indicate on the basis of which article from the law "On the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation" you are applying to the court and whether you have the right to do so.

Step 4

Describe the circumstances under which the measures that you are asking to appeal were applied and your position on this issue. The position must be substantiated by the relevant laws and regulations from the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Please write your court requirements clearly below - it is best to structure them using numbering.

Step 5

Date and sign. Also, the signature and seal must be substituted by a representative of the legal organization that certifies your document. If you have a personal representative (attorney), his signature is also required. Attach the necessary documents to the complaint itself: a copy of the complaint in duplicate, the content of those provisions of the law that you are asking to appeal (3 pieces), documents (and their copies) confirming what you described in the application.

Step 6

Pay the state fee of 300 rubles. (You can do this in "Sberbank") and attach it to the application. If you have the right not to pay the fee, then you must submit documents that confirm this. The complaint must be sent to the address of the location of the Constitutional Court by registered mail by mail. Residents of Moscow can contact the official representation of the court at the address: st. Ilyinka, house 21, entrance number 3.
