And if stun guns or gas cartridges can be purchased quite simply (if, of course, you are 18 years old), then a special license is required to carry a traumatic or gas weapon. Obtaining this license is not easy, but quite possible.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, see if you can basically get a gun license. To do this, you must be of legal age, must have a permanent place of residence. You should not be registered in a neuropsychiatric and drug addiction clinic. You should not have chronic diseases that are accompanied by frequent pain. You must not be convicted of an intentional crime, and you must not be brought to administrative responsibility twice within a year. You shouldn't have vision problems. All of the above is about you, then you can start the process of obtaining a license.
Step 2
Contact FRA (Department of Licensing and Permits). Such a department should be located at the place of residence at the ATC. There, specify what documents you need. A standard package of documents includes: an application, a passport and its photocopy, two photographs3 * 4, a medical certificate in the form No. 046-1.
Step 3
In your polyclinic, get a certificate using Form 046-1. Take extracts from the narcological and psychiatric dispensaries that you are not registered with them. Please note that the control seal on the medical certificate will be given to you only after visiting the dispensaries.
Step 4
Take a photo, make a photocopy of your passport and go to the FRA with the completed package of documents. There, fill out an application in the prescribed form and take a referral to the district police officer, a receipt for payment of the state duty and a referral to take the test at the training center.
Step 5
Before going to the training center, study the Federal Law “On Weapons” (Articles 17, 22 and 24), the Criminal Code (Articles 37-39 and 222-224), the Code of Administrative Violations (Articles 8-20), “Rules safe handling of firearms "and" Rules for the circulation of civilian and service weapons. " Knowing these regulations will help you pass the exam testing. Please note that if after two attempts you still do not pass the test, you will have to attend paid training lectures.
Step 6
Next, contact the district police officer. He must record the fact that you have a weapon box in your house. To do this, of course, you must first purchase and install this box.
Step 7
Pay the state fee and with all the documents go to the FRA again. If all documents are in order, you must get a license within 30 days.
Step 8
And remember, the license for self-defense weapons is valid for 5 years. After that, you must re-register.
