It seems that there are not enough hours in the day to complete household chores, cope with work, rest and sleep. But it is worth spending 10 minutes on drawing up a daily routine, as life from a chaos of hasty and unnecessary actions turns into a flow that you successfully control.
Instructions
Step 1
Plan the next day on the evening of the previous day, scheduling tasks by the hour. Highlight a few of the most important cases from those of lesser importance. That's what you will do if you have free time.
Step 2
Reserve 60-70% of the time for cases, writing off the remaining hours for unforeseen circumstances and spontaneous decisions. You should not deliberately shackle yourself with an overly strict framework. The schedule, drawn up like the daily routine of a prisoner, will soon begin to weigh on, and the planned and unfulfilled tasks will be disheartening.
Step 3
Divide the day schedule into groups "morning", "afternoon" and "evening". The morning routine should be the most precise and regulated so that the first actions after sleep are brought to automatism. Record activities in pairs: you can turn on the kettle before going to the shower.
Step 4
Consider natural biorhythms and your individual characteristics. Psychologists advise to perform the most difficult tasks in the morning. However, if you are a "night owl", you should not take on a responsible job immediately after waking up. Start with easier tasks. Larks, on the other hand, should not miss their most fruitful morning hours.
Step 5
Alternate between different activities. Work that requires a lot of mental effort and concentration should be interspersed with physical activity or socializing: go for a run in the park or meet with friends. Taking a short break from work will not take much time, but it will allow you to work more productively.
Step 6
Schedule the day to do things you need to do without focusing on getting them done. The very attempt to implement the plans is important. The technique of daily planning will help you remember all the responsibilities, the volume of which depends on many unpredictable circumstances.
Step 7
Summarize each day. See what you did in a day and what you didn't. Write down thoughts in the form of short comments and, most importantly, do not forget to praise yourself. Recognizing accomplishments is just as important as seeing failures.
