During the work of an employee in the company, various information is entered into his work book, namely: information about transfers to another position, awards and dismissal. A personnel worker may experience some confusion when writing down the wording of the reason for dismissal, since the Instructions for filling out these documents interprets the opposite than the Labor Code.
It is necessary
- - work book of the employee;
- - order to dismiss an employee.
Before making an entry in the work book, you need to draw up an order to dismiss the employee, which must be signed by the employer and, accordingly, the employee himself.
In this order, indicate the reason for dismissal. The Labor Code offers employers several dozen formulations. The most common of them are: dismissal due to the expiration of the employment contract, on the initiative of the employee himself, in connection with a transfer to another organization, in connection with a violation by the employee of the rules provided for by the Labor Code, in connection with the layoff, and others.
Based on this order, make an entry in the work book. Remember that the date of dismissal of the employee is the date of signing the order, respectively, the record must also be from this date. This document should be completed carefully and using a blue or black ballpoint or gel pen. Abbreviations are not allowed.
Next, proceed to filling out the book. In the "Entry No." field, put the number that is next after the previous entry. The date should be written in this format - dd.mm.yyyy. In the field "Job details" you must indicate the reason for dismissal with a link to the article. For example, upon voluntary dismissal, the following entry is made: “Discharged voluntarily, clause 3 of part one of Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation”. When an employee is dismissed in connection with the termination of the employment contract, the following is entered in the work book: "Dismissed due to the termination of the employment contract, paragraph 2 of the first part of Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation." If an employee is transferred to work in another organization, then the record will be as follows: “Dismissed due to the transfer to work in (name of the organization), paragraph 5 of the first part of Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation”.
After that, in the field "Document name" you need to indicate the order number and the date of drawing up. Then certify this record with the signature of the manager and the seal of the organization. Do not forget to write the information about making an entry in the work book in the employee's personal card, where he must put a signature indicating his consent to the changes being made.
