Instructions

Step 1

To calculate the average earnings, it is necessary to provide for all types of payments from a given employer, regardless of the sources of these payments. The calculation of compensation does not include payments of a social nature, such as material assistance, sick days, vacation days. Time spent on social benefits is also not taken into account.

Step 2

To calculate the average wage, you must take the last 12 months of work, even if the calculation of compensation has been made for the last few years.

Step 3

It is necessary to determine the amount of average earnings for one day of work and multiply it by the number of days of unused vacation. If the amount or number of days of compensation needs to be rounded off, then this is done in favor of the worker.

Step 4

If this worker worked less than 1 calendar year before dismissal, then the average earnings are calculated based on the actual hours worked. The number of days of due compensation is also calculated based on the actual hours worked.

Step 5

With 11 months worked, compensation is paid for all days of the prescribed vacation for one year.

Step 6

Average earnings are calculated on the basis of calendar days in a year. Weekends and holidays are not included in the calculation.

Step 7

To determine the number of days for which compensation is due, it is necessary to take the total work experience of an employee in this organization, calculate the number of vacation days allowed for a given period of work and subtract the number of vacation days used at the time of dismissal. The length of service does not include the absence of an employee without good reason, the time of suspension from work provided for in Article 76 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the time of parental leave until the child reaches the legal age, leave without pay, sick leave. The work experience is counted from the moment the employment contract is signed.
