Each person who works under an employment contract has the right to annual paid leave with the retention of his position and salary (Article 114, Chapter 19 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation of December 30, 2001, No. 197-FZ). Upon dismissal of an employee, the organization must pay compensation for unused vacation. (Article 127 Chapter 19 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation of December 30, 2001 No. 197-FZ).
Instructions
Step 1
To calculate this compensation, you must first calculate the average daily earnings. To do this, add up the wages for the billing period. Then multiply the number of months worked by 29.4 (the average number of calendar days in a month). Divide the total wage by the number you get.
Step 2
Next, you need to calculate the number of days of vacation. To do this, divide the 28 required calendar days of vacation by 12 months and multiply by the number of months in the billing period.
Step 3
The latter is the calculation of the compensation itself. Take the number of vacation days you are entitled to and multiply by your average daily earnings. The resulting figure must be paid to the employee.
