The schedule is needed primarily for the competent organization of the work and rest time of each individual employee. It allows you to organize your shift information and prevent confusion.
Instructions
Step 1
Charts can be drawn manually, as well as using specially designed programs for this. In principle, if the number of personnel in the organization is small, then it is enough to use ingenuity and use simple mathematical calculations in order to record the exit of the company's employees on a sheet of paper. It is easy to navigate if the work of all staff is subject to a single schedule, for example, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. In this situation, you can do without a schedule altogether.
Step 2
In companies that have a long working day in excess of 8-9 hours, it is better to use a "rolling" schedule with floating days off. The most popular options are 2/2 or 3/3. Sometimes, however, there is a week after a week, but this format is used in few enterprises, since labor productivity drops dramatically for 5-6 days due to the accumulated fatigue of workers. For the successful implementation of the above schemes, it is necessary that the number of employees in the enterprise be equal to an even number, if there is a need for a constant presence of a person in his area.
Step 3
In 24-hour facilities for line employees, a work schedule that divides all staff into shifts is applied. As a rule, here it is not possible to do without a 2/2 scheme as well. Usually one of two options is chosen: • 2 days a day, 2 days off, 2 days a night, 2 days off, etc. • 1 - at night, 1 - a day, 2 days off, etc. The first scheme is considered the most effective, since the employee has enough time to rest and recuperate. In the second case, the first day off after a working night is spent on sleep. In fact, the employee fully rests only the second day, and on the third day he goes to work and the cycle repeats. However, this option of the schedule is most convenient for students who combine work with study in full-time or evening departments.
Step 4
If in a 24-hour institution it is possible to divide the staff into 7 shifts, and the bulk of people, due to the nature of their activity, must be present at work at night, then you can use the 5/2 scheme. It looks like this: 2 nights (from 21:00 to 8:00), evening (from 18:00 to 22:00), day (from 16:00 to 22:00), morning (from 8:00 to 16: 00). Thus, each employee works out the statutory 40 hours a week, while 2 shifts go out simultaneously at night.
Step 5
It is also possible to schedule a schedule in two days, and with a sufficient number of staff, it can be organized in three. This option is used mainly in the field of security. But if it is planned to use it, then we must not forget about the prescribed hours of rest within the shift, which are established by law. Therefore, at least one "extra" person on the shift should still be present.
