Currently, citizens of the Russian Federation can find out their TIN via the Internet using their passport at any convenient time. This does not require special skills, you just need to use a special service on the website of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation.
Instructions
Step 1
Before you find out your TIN on the Internet using your passport, make sure that you already have an individual tax number. If you are officially employed, most likely you have a TIN, and you can go straight to the second step. Otherwise, you will need to go through the procedure for its registration in a special section of the FTS website. Today, this procedure does not require serious efforts and is performed exclusively online. You can also go through it on the government services website. Fill in your personal information by following the instructions on the screen, and then report to your local tax office at the appointed time to get your document in your hands.
Step 2
Open the website of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation and go to the section "Registration of individuals", in which click on the link "Find out the TIN". After going to the required page, indicate that you need your own TIN (there is also a section for inquiring about the tax number of another individual). Fill in the proposed fields by entering your full name, place and date of birth, an identity document (in this case, it will be a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation), as well as all the necessary passport information. At the end of filling out the electronic application form, do not forget to enter the digital code from the picture, and then click "Send request".
Step 3
Take your time to close or reload the page, just scroll down. If you have a TIN, it will be displayed below the fields with the personal data you entered. If necessary, going back two pages, you can find out the individual tax number of another individual or legal entity, if you fill in its passport data correctly. In this case, the site will only report the presence or absence of a person's TIN. It will be possible to fully find out someone else's number at the local tax office using a personal passport, a copy of another person's passport and with a document giving you the powers of a representative (the procedure is paid and its cost is 100 rubles).
Step 4
Currently, there are more and more available ways to find out your TIN by passport. The corresponding section is available on the website of public services. Also, the TIN is included in the list of necessary information when registering on various sites for legal money making, from where it can be copied in the future if necessary. In the end, it is enough to contact the accounting department or directly to the manager at your place of employment, and you will be provided with the necessary information.
