Passport is the main identity document of a citizen of the Russian Federation. It contains data on the last name, first name and patronymic of a person, as well as the date and place of birth, place of registration, marital status and minor children. Step 1
Open the first and second pages of the passport, where the photo is pasted. The spread of the pages is covered with a special transparent film so that unauthorized persons cannot make changes to the data indicated here. On modern passports, the film has a holographic pattern.
Step 2
Rotate the passport 90 ° so the photo is at the bottom. There will be three groups of numbers at the top. The first two groups (two digits each) are the passport series. The last group (six digits) is the passport number.
Step 3
On other pages of the passport (if you leaf through it in the same position), the series and number of the passport will be indicated below, in the form of numbers from the cut out round holes. Reading the passport number from other pages is a little more difficult.
