A work book is an official document that confirms your work experience. It is important that it contains all the necessary records of admission and dismissal from work. If they were not made or the book was completely lost, then such records can be restored.

Instructions

Step 1

Please inform your current employer that the book is lost or badly damaged. It will be he who will have to deal with its restoration. If you are not working now, your last employer will issue you a new book.

Step 2

Prepare documents confirming your work experience. This is necessary if some of the entries in the book cannot be read due to damage or the document is completely lost. Proof of your previous place of work can be an employment contract if you had it in your hands. If not, contact the Pension Fund, where you should be given a certificate indicating information on seniority. You can also personally contact the companies where you worked before, and get information directly from there.

Step 3

If necessary, purchase a blank for a new book. This can be done at any newsstand or bookstore. In some cases, the employer will purchase the book on its own, but you may be charged for it.

Step 4

Submit the documents and the form of the book to the HR department of your organization. There the specialist will be able to make a duplicate of your old book. Naturally, it will differ from the old copy, since, for example, it will not have the stamps of other companies. Nevertheless, such a new book, produced by the employer, can subsequently be used for its intended purpose and serve as a confirmation of your work experience, for example, when applying for a pension.
