Quite often, part-time work is more profitable for both the employee and the employer. It is very easy to accept an employee for this type of employment, since all the subtleties of the procedure are clearly described in the Labor Code.
Necessary
Labor Code of the Russian Federation, passport, educational documents
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that you are hiring an employee specifically for a part-time job (the Labor Code clearly distinguishes between a combination of positions and part-time work). In the first case, it is simply an increase in the volume of work, and in the second, it is employment on the basis of a separate employment contract with the performance of duties in free time from the main work.
Step 2
It should be remembered that some categories of employees (for example, state and municipal employees) can only work part-time in the field of teaching or research. You cannot hire part-time employees under the age of 18.
Step 3
To be hired part-time, an employee needs a passport, and if special knowledge is needed, then a document on the relevant education. If part-time work is associated with difficult or dangerous working conditions, you will also need a certificate stating that there are no such conditions at the main place of work. On the basis of these documents, an employment contract is concluded with the employee and an order of the head of the company is issued for hiring part-time jobs.
Step 4
Remember that, according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the duration of the working time during part-time work cannot exceed 4 hours a day and 16 hours a week.
Step 5
Social guarantees for part-time workers remain practically unchanged: benefits for temporary disability are paid, leave is granted after 6 months of work. Dismissal takes place on the same grounds as the main employees, including of their own free will.
