If you drive a car, then with an enviable frequency in your life a situation arises when you are stopped by a traffic police inspector and accused of violating traffic rules. If you really violated them and do not mind the fine written out, then there are no questions here - you just need to go and pay the receipt. However, often the driver does not agree that he has violated the rules and must pay a fine. How to be in this situation?
Necessary
- - refuse to sign any document other than the protocol. For example, a receipt for payment of a fine if the reason or amount is not satisfactory to you;
- - write down the surname, first name and patronymic of the employee (in full) with whom the disagreement arose, his position, rank, place of work (if possible), the data of the service card and the number of the badge;
- - write down the side and state numbers of the car (if the traffic police officer is on a company car);
- - write down the data of witnesses (surnames, names and patronymics, as well as addresses, telephones, passport data - if possible);
- - take a copy of the protocol.

Step 1
If you do not agree with the amount of the fine or the fact that you have violated the traffic rules, demand that a protocol be drawn up and do not sign the documents listed above.
Step 2
Most likely, you will not agree with the protocol, then write three phrases in the “Explanation” column: “I do not agree with the protocol. I did not violate traffic rules. The help of a defender is required”(in this case, the inspector will not be able to issue a fine on the spot). Do not subscribe where you do not understand something - then it will be difficult to fix it.
Step 3
Record witness information. If the traffic police officer refuses to do this, write down their data in the column "Explanation". Make a note of the inspector's details.
Step 4
If an accident is issued, you have the right to refuse to testify under the pretext that you are in a stressful situation and first consult with a lawyer.
Step 5
Look at the column "Place and time of consideration of an administrative offense". In the event that the indicated place is inconvenient for you, do not put your signature. It would be better to sign in the column "I ask you to send the protocol for consideration at the place of residence of the vehicle." Be sure to take a copy of the protocol.
Step 6
If, for some reason, a fine was nevertheless issued to you, dispute it within 10 days. To challenge the fine in court, file a complaint with the judicial authority and attach all available documents to it (a copy of the protocol, a decision to revoke a driver's license, etc. - all listed in the complaint).
