A copy of the court's verdict is sent (transmitted) to the convicted (acquitted), the prosecutor and the lawyer within 5 working days from the date of its adoption. The rest of the participants in the process (victims and their legal representatives) will have to contact the office or the archive of the court to obtain this document.
Instructions
Step 1
Please note: if you are a victim (or his legal representative), neither the office nor the archive have the right to demand payment of the state duty from you if you are applying for this document for the first time.
Step 2
In order to receive a copy of the verdict, you must write a statement addressed to the chairman of the district court. In the application, indicate his full name and your full name and passport data. If you do not know the number of the case, a copy of the verdict on which you are requesting, indicate the name of the convicted (acquitted) and the date of the verdict. With the written statement and passport, contact the duty judge for a resolution.
Step 3
If you are not applying for a copy of the verdict for the first time, since the previous one was lost by you or used to appeal it or for other purposes, you will have to pay the state fee in the established amount and be sure to indicate the reason for the request in the text of the application. Usually the amount of the state fee depends on the number of pages of the sentence.
Step 4
You have the right not to pay the state duty only if you are convicted in this case and do not have money and relatives willing to pay it. This must be documented.
Step 5
If you are requesting a copy of the verdict in cases that have been considered for a long time, you should go directly to the court archives, and not to the office. The office stores only cases that were considered in the current year.
Step 6
The procedure for obtaining a copy of the judgment may be difficult if its issuance, in the judge's opinion, at the moment threatens the interests of the convicted person. A copy of the verdict is not issued to persons who were not participants in this trial.
