Characteristics of an employee and various recommendations addressed to him are very common documents that are drawn up by the company's management. Most often, they are required when employing an employee for another job to confirm his skills and personal qualities.

Step 1
Write a description for the employee. For convenience, you can arrange it inside a folder with a brief description on the cover, or create a cover page. In the title, indicate for whom the characteristic is drawn up - the full name of the employee and his position. Also write the name of the company.
Step 2
Start creating the main text of the characteristic. Tell us how long the employee has worked in the organization, why he was selected for the proposed position, what distinguishes him from other candidates. You can also indicate how well the employee coped with the probationary period, how he showed himself at the beginning of work.
Step 3
List the core skills of the employee. Focus on those that were shown during his work in this company and helped him, for example, climb the career ladder, bring the company's products to a higher level, increase production, etc.
Step 4
Describe the personality traits of the employee. Tell me if he is diligent, how responsibly he approaches the execution of orders, how quickly he copes with them, whether he has the skills to work with various technical devices and software. Also indicate the main traits of his character - how pleasant and friendly he is in communication, whether he feels good in the work team, whether he comes to work on time, etc. After completing the characterization, write the surname and initials of its author and leave the contact details, as well as your signature. Be ready to confirm everything you said if representatives of other companies contact you with a corresponding request.

Write a recommendation to the person. You can write it separately or attach to the characteristic. In this document, you must recommend the employment of an employee for a specific position or in a specific company. It is important here that the recommendation corresponds to the information from the characteristics, and you advised exactly the position for which the person can apply.
