In accordance with the legislation, workplaces must be periodically certified at enterprises. The procedure and timing of certification are determined by the regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health and Social Development and are mandatory for entrepreneurs engaged in individual activities, as well as for legal entities.

Step 1
Understand the basic requirements for workplace certification. This set of measures is aimed at a complete assessment of the conditions of production activities in the workplace. In the course of certification activities, harmful factors associated with production are identified, and specific measures are developed to bring conditions to the requirements of official standards and regulations.
Step 2
Set a timeline for the event. According to the regulation, certification should be carried out once every five years. The date of the beginning of the certification is the day of the issuance of the order on the creation of the certification commission. If the company undergoes a significant change in the technological process or creates new jobs, certification is carried out on an unscheduled basis.
Step 3
Determine the circle of persons who will be included in the attestation commission of the enterprise. Include in the list the heads of services and structural divisions, employees of the personnel service, a lawyer, a medical worker, representatives of a trade union organization.
Step 4
Prepare a list of company employees who are required to undergo an annual preventive examination due to the nature of their work. Study the working conditions in the field where personal protective equipment is required. Assess the degree of protection of workers from injury. The regulation on certification provides for a system of premiums and discounts to insurance rates if there is a risk of injury at a particular workplace.
Step 5
Perform the planned activities in accordance with the Regulations on the certification of workplaces. The persons included in the commission must step by step assess the compliance of working conditions with the requirements of production and sanitary standards. The likelihood of injury and occupational disease is estimated. Compliance with hygiene standards and serviceability of personal protective equipment are checked.
Step 6
Based on the results of the certification, draw up an appropriate order, attaching a summary score sheet to it. An explanatory note can be an addition to the order, which usually includes specific proposals based on the results of the audit. Also make a list of certified jobs and send it to the territorial labor inspectorate.
