Instructions
Step 1
First of all, having decided on the reasons for the suspension of registration, come to the FRS registration service at the place of filing the documents. Please note that before you get to an appointment with an employee, you will have to stand in a queue, which can last up to several hours. Stock up on free time.
Step 2
Write a statement to the FRS officer indicating the reasons and the period for the suspension of registration. In order for the application to be accepted, present your passport or other identity document, as well as receipts for the receipt of documents.
Step 3
If you do not have the opportunity to personally come to the FRS and write a statement, issue a power of attorney for someone at a notary office. Please note that this is a paid service, and it requires the passports of the principal and the authorized person, as well as the personal presence of the principal at the notary.
Step 4
When specifying the period of suspension of registration, please note that the registration can be stopped unilaterally for no more than 1 month. After that, if the reasons have been eliminated, to renew the registration, submit a written application in the same way as for the first time.
Step 5
The registration service will independently notify the other party to the transaction about the suspension of state registration. If after 1 month the initiator of the suspension of the transaction does not submit an application for its renewal, the transaction is declared invalid and its registration is refused.
Step 6
If after a month the complicating circumstances could not be overcome, but the parties to the transaction still strive to register the transaction, by agreement of the parties, the registration stop can be extended for up to 3 months. To do this, write an appropriate statement and get the other side to do the same.
Step 7
Do not forget that the applicant can use the right to suspend the transaction only once.
