A residence permit in Sweden gives you the right to enter and stay in the country for a certain period of time. As in other countries, Sweden has two residence permits - temporary and permanent. A permanent residence permit cannot be obtained without first obtaining a temporary one.
Necessary
A work or study permit in Sweden
Instructions
Step 1
A residence permit must be obtained if it is required to enter the country for a period of more than three months. The decision on extradition is made by the country's Migration Service.
First you need to submit an application to the Swedish consulate. All applications from the embassy are forwarded to the country's Migration Service, where all data is checked and recorded in the database. If the city does not have a representative office of the country, then you can send the application by mail or through a proxy. You must also submit a copy of the employment contract, which was concluded with the Swedish employer, or the university admission document. Also, the basis for obtaining a residence permit can be family visits or reunification with its members, as well as investments in the country's economy and private entrepreneurship.
Step 2
The purchase of real estate in the country also has a positive effect on the registration of a residence permit. The residence permit itself is a card that is also valid on the territory of the EU countries and is designed to replace the usual paper version pasted into the passport. It will also be possible to live in other states, but for no more than three months. The application is considered for 4 to 8 months, this period varies depending on the case. The consulate will appoint an interview time, which you must first go through to receive the card.
